When our Renault volumetric lorry suffered a complete failure of the PTO drive system, we were very grateful to receive a direct referral to MIT from our trusted supplier Norfolk Trucks.
We made initial enquiries on a Friday, and by the following Monday afternoon, Paul Walton had viewed our lorry in person to assess the existing PTO set-up and offer us the best and most cost-effective conversion solution; a new PTO directly off the engine.
The vehicle was collected a few days later and taken to MIT’s workshop for the PTO upgrade to begin. The 12-day turnaround overran slightly, but that was to allow for some unexpected adjustments. We were happy to wait to receive a perfectly calibrated PTO, and Paul kept us informed at every stage of the process.
The new PTO runs like a dream, direct off the engine and demonstrates the attention, precision and quality of workmanship these talented engineers undertake. We would have no hesitation in recommending the fantastic team at MIT; they were an absolute pleasure to deal with.’
