We are delighted to officially announce a new partnership signing that will take place on our stand at Aquaculture!
Danfoss Drives have been serving users globally with AC drives since 1968 and are at the forefront of innovation, bringing variable speed to electric motors.
Aligning with our strategic goal to offer sustainably driven applications into our market places, it is with the greatest pleasure that we can now announce our new partnership with Danfoss Drives.
This new partnership will see MIT working as an official Danfoss Drives service and aftermarket partner, offering technical and engineering support throughout the UK and Ireland.
John Logue, Managing Director, MIT, said, “The opportunity to be an aftermarket service provider in the marine sector for Danfoss DrivePro Services on their VLT and VACON drives supports our strategic development as a complete electrical/hybrid driveline and mechatronics systems integrator.
Building such partnerships ensures that MIT can support our customer’s transition from traditional fossil fuel-powered applications to more sustainable alternatives. With our engineering expertise, we can work with our customers to develop and support their marine applications in the years to come”.
Alan Baird, Country Manager UK and Ireland, Danfoss Drives said, “Partnering with MIT as our aftermarket service provider focussed on the UK and Irish marine markets broadens our ability in providing our end users with a more proactive and responsive service. The UK marine sector is growing fast across fishing, aquaculture, wind farms and transportation with many exciting innovations and a significant drive towards green and sustainable power solutions. MIT are an established and reputable service provider within the marine market today and therefore help to focus and strengthen Danfoss’s position for these important customers”
Danfoss is a world-class partner for MIT, and we are honoured to now be a Danfoss Drives Service Partner within the UK and Ireland.
