ZF Marine Transmission Overhaul

Our service department carried out an overhaul to two ZF550 marine transmissions belonging to a MOD vessel that required full refurbishment.

The overhaul operation involved full disassembly, inspection, and then reassembly with genuine OEM parts.

So that the units gained full Lloyds type approval, a Lloyds Register insurance engineer observed the testing procedure so that the units could be returned fully certified.
