Hybrid Marine Case Study

Leader, the UK’s first hybrid pilot boat built by Goodchild Marine Services Limited for the Port of London Authority paving the way for dynamic improvements to the carbon footprint of working vessels in UK waters.

The ORC 136HY, is a parallel hybrid pilot boat, combining both diesel and electric power. She has been designed to be completely emission-free while operating in electric mode.
