Power Take Offs

Technodrive power take-offs may be coupled directly to Diesel engines with SAE flanges. They can be used for a variety of industrial and marine applications where there is a need to disengage movement from the engine to the driven unit, such as the drives of compressors, fan and pumps. The mechanically controlled dry-disc clutch is equipped with housing and supported by a shaft. The TECHNODRIVE range consists of single-disc power take-offs by 6"1/2, 7"1/2, 8", 10", 11"1/2, double-disc power take-offs by 11"1/2 e 14", triple-disc power take-offs by 11"1/2, 14" e 18", able to cover a power range between 15 and 700kw.

Marine Gears

The range of Technodrive Marine Gears now form part of the complete range offered by Twin Disc. There are more than 30 different marine transmission models in a variety of configurations ranging from 35 to 2600 horsepower.  

From the smallest to the largest high-speed diesel-powered pleasure craft to a myriad of commercial boat applications, Twin Disc has marine transmission systems that precisely fit the horsepower and operating needs of each. 

The standard Twin Disc & Technodrive range of  marine transmissions feature helical gearing for quieter operation; hydraulic-operated and oil-cooled clutches for smooth, fast shifting; identical reduction ratios in forward and reverse, full power forward and reverse and minimal external plumbing. Some models are available with down angle output to provide near-level engine installation, a feature of particular interest to boat builders for optimizing space within the vessel. For additional space savings, remote mounted V-drive and direct-mounted V-drive models are available.
