Rolla manufacture highly efficient quality propellers up to 2m in diameter, offering a complete hydrodynamic engineering service using Computer Fluid Dynamic (CFC) analysis based on the full formation and sea keeping. Surface Piercing propellers

Propellers designed from systematic series based tunnel testing which permit torque to be calculated, thrust coefficients, efficiency and horizontal, as well as vertical forces figures for different shaft and propellers immersion. 

Surface piercing propellers are manufactured in NiBrAL, for 28” up to 65” in diameter with a power range from 600Hp to 5500Hp.  Duplex Stainless Steel ERO and 17.4PH are also available for 16” up to 28” in diameter with a power range from 250Hp up to 1400Hp.

Submerged propellers

A computer panel code method which allows for a complete 3D study and optimisation of the propellers geometry is used. This true image shows the propeller in action within its application of the hull lines so resistance, trim and wake field at the propeller disc can be reviewed.

Submerged propellers are manufactured in NiBrAL from 28” up to 75” in diameter with a power range from 600Hp to 4000Hp.
