Marine Gears

Nico Marine gears operate with low fuel consumption and have a more efficient type of propulsion method which transmits low speed engine revolution.  This is reduced further to the propeller through gear mechanism and engages forward/reverse or on/off by means of a hydraulic clutch. 

There is an extensive range within the series available; standard (MGN and MGR), Omega clutch, with a shaft generator installed (MGNPY and MGRPY) and a group of models which enables very slow speed operation through an electronic controller. The best suitable model can be selected according to the capacity of main engine and the kind of propeller.

Power Shift transmissions

The power-shift transmissions are countershaft type construction and can be adapted for various uses such as a shovel loader, rough terrain crane, to name a few. Accessories are available such as hydro brakes, parking brakes, speed meter outlet; and an outlet for pump driving can be fitted, if required.  Maintenance of all units is kept to a minimum with oil pumps and valves on the outside for easy daily inspection.
