NEW APPOINTMENTS AT MARINE & INDUSTRIAL TRANSMISSIONS
The Board of Directors of M.I.T. have reviewed its management structure in light of the significant growth of the company and have appointed two new directors effective from 1st January 2010. Gary Clarke has being appointed Service & Aftermarket Director; Martin Jackson becomes Sales & Marketing Director. At the same time Peter Edy has taken up the new senior management appointment of Chief Engineer to work on special contracts and the development of the future aftermarket business.
New management appointments include Dave Little as Sales Office and Applications Manager. In addition to her existing Administration Managers role Anne Ball takes responsibility for MIT’s Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Training programmes.
MIT’s C.E.O. Mr. Geoff Pearce comments that these management changes have established a highly competent and progressive senior management team, supported by a great team of line managers. This has been achieved and enhanced by our programme of management development and training; and further reinforced by ensuring that the next level of management training is already in place. Mr Pearce goes on to say that he is delighted with the changes approved by the board of directors and is confident that they will deliver major benefits to MIT’s customers, suppliers and staff, and ensure the continued success of The Company.
